Hyderabad: Ahead of Children's Day, Dr Rao’s ENT Cochlear Implant Centre celebrated an event of smiles and sounds - “Voices of Joy”.
Voices of Joy celebrated the remarkable journey of 200 cochlear implant children who have now rediscovered the world of sound. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr Manjula Anagani, a renowned gynecologist and Padma Shri awardee. The event was led under the guidance and initiative of Dr Shree Rao, Director and Cochlear Implant Surgeon at Dr Rao’s ENT, who is on a mission to make India a deaf-free nation.
The event, filled with laughter, music, and heartwarming performances, symbolised the power of sound and the transformative impact of early hearing intervention.
With the theme “Voices of Joy”, the celebration was a tribute to the spirit and resilience of young cochlear implant recipients—children who have not only regained hearing but have also found their voices, dreams, and confidence.
The day began with a vibrant ramp walk where little ones proudly walked the stage holding placards with inspiring messages like “I Can Hear You Now!” and “Every Child Deserves a Voice.” This was followed by games, music, and dance performances by the children.
